Friday – we had a party day and I really enjoyed spending
time with the oldest girls. We played this clapping game (that reminded me of
primary school) at the end of the clapping song you tickle each arm pit saying
sam cheeki cheeki mamba, then you say serious and everyone stands arms crossed
with serious faces and the 1st person to smile would be out then you
keep playing until there is one person who was serious to the end. These are
some of my girls;

In the middle of the day some of us needed to go into town
to get some supplies, and the same boy I had described in the “
Ride on a
bukky ” post, was there and he was so excited to see us, as soon as we
pulled into the car park he begun to jump up and down and had the biggest smile
for us. He pushed our trolley around the supermarket. Then I left the people I
went with to go and buy airtime (credit) for my phone which made me feel like –
God has had a plan from the beginning if I hadn’t had gone to Kenya with a team
and had some exposure to African culture, I don’t think I would have had the
confidence to just cross the road and buy something by myself. When I arrived
back at the supermarket, I stood at the entrance and waited for the others had
finished, I looked over and saw the boy, he looked back at me then walked over
to me and waved, then he blow me a kiss, I blew him one back and his face
exploded into a huge smile again he made my day.
We then went back to camp and had water balloon fights and a
big water fight the campsite was filled with so much laughter I was the best
activity to do on the last day of camp!
